1 week old

I had every intention of posting this yesterday, which was when Colby was actually one week old, but y'all understand how it is with a newborn...

Anywho, here is our sweet new baby boy at one week old...
(To get an idea of his size, he's wearing a premie onesie...it's by no means tight on him! He's our little peanut.)

A few more pictures taken throughout the week.Colby loves his binky.

Although he's almost a spitting image of Kyle, he is such a different baby. What's the best part of him being a different baby? HE LIKES TO EAT! (Eating has been an issue with Kyle from day one, we are SO THANKFUL this one eats. Truly a blessing.)

Tummy Time!

We weren't sure right off the bat what color of eyes Colby was going to have, but we're pretty sure he's going to be another blue eyed blond haired Pugmire! (It's just not fair. I go through all the work of pregnancy, delivery, and recovery, and the boys don't seem to get any of my features...they are little cookie cutters of their dad. Lucky for me Scott's a handsome guy!)

Best buddies already.

Kyle loves his little brother. He asks to hold him all the time. We try to let him as often as possible. Hopefully it will create a bond between the boys that will never be broken. (High hopes, but one can wish!) Kyle has been a super big helper since we brought Colby home. He considers it his job to hold the binky in Colby's mouth when-ever he is crying! He's also been good about taking diapers to the trash and running upstairs to get things for mommy that she's left.

I love my boys, I am truly blessed.

Isn't it wonderful to have babies! Kyle is a darling big brother. It is priceless to have siblings. My kids fight & tease each other & play daily. They have all said that they are grateful to have each other. CONGRATS! Hope you are healing up alright!
